We are excited to introduce teeth cleaning using the Emmi® Pet ultrasonic toothbrush as part of our grooming services.
Using the Emmi® Pet ultrasonic toothbrush and toothpaste allows us to provide a gentle, stress free way to support your dog’s oral health without any scary noise or vibrations.
What is Emmi® Pet?
The Emmi® Pet toothbrush system uses ultrasonic technology alongside a specially formulated toothpaste to create microbubbles which gently and thoroughly cleans the surface of the teeth.
It works to reduce bacteria and plaque in the mouth, which in turn helps to prevent the build up of tartar.
It also stimulates blood flow to the gums which in turn helps to combat bacteria in the mouth therefore improving your dogs general oral health.
Why is oral care important?
Good oral care…
> Maintains pleasant breath
> Helps reduce bacteria and plaque
>Acts as a preventative to tartar build up
> Helps prevent gum disease and infection
> Prevents the spread of bacteria around the body
What to expect?
We assess each dogs suitability for the Emmi® Pet system on an individual basis. If we don’t think we can provide safe and effective cleaning, we will always advise seeking advise from a veterinary professional.
Each session is gradual, we gently introduce your dog to the teeth cleaning process. Results build over multiple sessions, which is why we recommend a course of 6-8 sessions for noticeable improvement.
The most effective results are achieved when each Emmi® Pet session is combined with at-home dental care such as brushing your dogs teeth regularly and using high quality dental care products.
**It is important to note that the Emmi® Pet ultrasonic system is NOT a replacement for veterinary dental treatment. Think of it like brushing your own teeth in-between regular dentist visits.
